THE ANALOGY

This happened in I think, the august of 2007. We were in Red Robin with me discussing to Alok Jain, how I thought "Good Boy, Bad Boy" was and is still the worst movie I have ever seen. And then Sulabh commented that I loved watching such Hindi movies, which is true btw.

Alok raised the point that it is not possible for me to enjoy watching a movie that I claim to be the "Worst movie ever!!!".. and I used this analogy to convince him:

"Watching a bad hindi movie is like watching your friend fall, or get hurt, say when you are playing a sport or just walking together or something. The idea is, you don't really like it, but you do enjoy the moment and find it funny!!"

What I liked about this funda was, firstly it was as spontaneous as ASE and secondly, it was mighty convincing, It just drove the point home and ended the doubt that he might have had.
